The recent shooting at the community college at Umpqua Community College is a harsh reminder of the potential danger that we can face in the world each and every day. It is not uncommon for schools, or other institutions to have a outside threat working its way into the depths of a building.

The news is full of reports of heroic students and teachers that stood in the face of danger to try and protect themselves and others. Many schools have the ability to "Lock Down". This term is becoming synonymous with the ability to lock doors and windows through out a building to keep an outside threat out. One of the common weak links in a lock down situation is the window glass. Doors lock easy, and are difficult to break open, but windows are fairly easy. Especially with a firearm and bullet proof glass can be exponentially expensive.

If you are an influential person, associate or administrator of a school or other institution, consider protecting the building and inner classrooms / offices with CJ Buffer's bullet proof film on all first floor windows. Our Ballistic Film can strengthen a window's strength by up to 10 times and can stop a shooter in their tracks. Not to mention keep someone from accessing a valuable target. Look for opportunities to protect you and your assets using CJ Buffer's Bullet Proof window film.
